the big one oh

Small's birthday is tomorrow. He is not so small anymore; I might have to give him a new pseudonym on this blog. More than anything that kid wants clothes, and music stuff, and gift cards. He is turning into a preteen. He does not want toys anymore. That's utterly surreal. Double digits this year. I have been a mom for 10 whole years. Small is a pretty amazing guy. So sensitive and smart and aware of the world. He can be so demanding, but he is such a cool individual to talk to. Don't know if that was parenting, or if that's just him. But either way - lucky me.
